Property Rules
**PLEASE NOTE: CASA DEL MAR ON-SITE OFFICE CANNOT ASSIST YOU IN ANY WAY.
WELCOME! We hope you enjoy your stay at The Casa Del Mar. To help ensure your visit is pleasurable and memorable, please take a few moments to read the following. Please feel free to call us with any questions not covered in this letter. Failure to abide by property rules will result in termination of rental agreement for non-compliance; no refund shall be due. Each unit is privately owned and furnished. DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING from unit. Each unit is carefully inspected upon your departure with an itemized list. ANYTHING missing from the unit will be billed directly to the occupant; (this includes linens, silverware, glasses, décor, etc.). Please do not use towels in unit for beach towels (excessive cleaning will apply). ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING. SMOKING ALLOWED ON BALCONIES ONLY. ($200.00 smoking fee will apply.)
- CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS - A minimum $35.00 cancellation fee plus non-refundable reservation fee of $27.50 will apply to all canceled reservations (fees subject to change without notice). Refunds (minus cancellation and reservation fees) will be given if cancellation occurs by noon 2 days prior to the arrival date. For holidays and special events, a 2-week deadline for cancellation will apply. The same deadline will apply for all reservation changes. Failure to keep reservation (no-show) will be charged the entire deposit. Refunds are not given for any early departure. All reservations are guaranteed reservations. Departing early due to weather, illness, emergencies, change of plans, or being asked to leave for failure to comply with rules and regulations will result in no refund given. Refunds are not given for mandatory island evacuation; we suggest the purchase of travel insurance prior to arrival.
- CHECK - IN AND CHECK - OUT: Check-in is between 3 PM and 4 PM as soon as the unit is cleaned and ready. Check-out is no later than 11 AM and STRICTLY ENFORCED during peak and busy times. Early Check-in / late check-out (seasonal) may be inquired about through rental agent. BALANCES DUE MUST BE PAID UPON CHECK - IN. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. MAJOR CEDIT CARDS ACCEPTED (Not Discover).
- Renter must be at least 21 years of age or older and occupy the unit(s) for the entire duration of the stay. Reserving/responsible person will be held accountable for charges, damages, excessive cleaning, etc. for all charges related to occupancy of the unit.
- Maximum occupancy per unit 4 Adults & 2 Children.
- No animals or pets of any kind permitted on premises.
- Balconies must be kept free of clutter. No towels, swimsuits, decorations, etc. are to be hung from balconies.
- Vehicles (2 max) must park in designated areas with proper permit issued by Casa Del Mar. No boats, trailers, recreational vehicles, etc. allowed on property.
- Guests are not allowed to make loud, objectionable, or disturbing noise.
- Stereos, TVs, etc. must be played at a volume so as not to disturb others.
- Common sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas may not be obstructed or used to ride bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, ETC.
- Bicycles must be kept inside unit or securely locked to bicycle rack provided on ground level.
- Trash must be placed in trash receptacle. Dumpsters are at rear of property.
- You may barbecue using pits on west side of property only.
- Appropriate family attire and language must be presented in common areas or limited common areas. Specifically clothing which conceals the person in a manner suitable for a family atmosphere.
- No consumption of alcoholic beverages permitted in common areas or pool.
- All lockouts will be assessed a $40.00 fee, payable in cash at time of service. If office personnel are unavailable, guest is responsible for contacting locksmith and paying all related fees.
- Failure to abide by property and/or agent rules and regulations will result in expulsion from property with no entitlement to any reimbursements of funds paid.
